My personality trait was "THE INNERMOST ME " - to break down my walls before getting to know me.
I employed the different sizes of pyramids inside each other to relay my narrative. The model was layered into four stages - SHYNESS, EMBARASSMENT, ANXIETY, INSECURITY. With each rising level, my walls get bigger and bigger and more compact, which means the largest wall is the most important and hardest to overcome. In the innermost layer of these pyramids, it is me sitting inside and waiting for others to discover the real me. All the pyramids are facing different directions to show that people can see me with different faces, as well as they get closer to me.
MATERIAL CHOSEN
- PERSPEX
to show my personalities as simple and clear
- BLACK PLASTIC MESH
to block some of the visual connections outside the world,
but people can still peep inside with the small holes
